Portsmouth v Birmingham City Live Stream

Tuesday March 9, 2010

Kick off: 19:45 Day 22 Fratton Park

Portsmouth v Birmingham City

Birmingham's last game in the Premier League was a 1-0 victory (v Wigan) courtesy of a penalty from James McFadden, the same manner in which the Blues won their last Premier League meeting with Portsmouth.

There have been penalties awarded in five of the last eight Premier League meetings between Birmingham and Portsmouth, all in favour of the side playing at home.

Pompey have conceded eight penalties in the Premier League, the joint-most along with Burnley.

Portsmouth have had three penalties saved this season, more than any other side. Only Everton (three) have failed to score as many penalties.

Alex McLeish's side have lost their last three league games away from home, scoring just one goal (an own goal) along the way.

Birmingham's biggest ever win in the Premier League came against Portsmouth when they thrashed the south coast side 5-0 at St Andrews in January 2006.
